Whether you can see it or not, there is exhaustion here. This photo was taken of Valerie, my exchange partner, Isabelle and Vandana. (Isabelle will go to Manhattan, Vandana to a small town in the southwest of France named Perigueux. Now that will be an exchange!)At this point, we've been through three days of meetings, discussions, hot weather outside, freezing air conditioning inside, and are prepping for the finale event: the big dinner and cultural celebration. (I figured out later that all of that sitting, thinking, air temperature changing, and preparation can take a toll on a person..)
