Final thought as I'm done with the photos and have done very little since this weekend.
I got 2, not one, but 2 birthday cards in the real French mail. They were addressed to me and it was a great time to get them. Thanks to Jill and Aunt Carol for remembering and thinking to send a snail mail card. It was great!
Not sure this week will have much more going on. I plan on making a daily trip to the school (there is a hill that I haven't quite mastered in the deisel/stick shift mail truck) and maybe some trips on the tram into Montpellier (since I'm living on the north side and am not quite in the city center.)
Still have until September 1 before school starts so there is plenty of time. Frankly, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. We'll see. I'm going to have to get creative. (Remember that everything is closed since these two weeks are the national weeks for taking that famous month of vacation the French are so lucky to have...)
