The Spamaganza!
For the rest of my life, March 18 will always be Spam Day for me. This morning I got up, cut up some Spam and took this picture to show my juniors what we'd be eating in the 2nd hour of class today. Let's call it the "amuse-oeil."

Here is Blanche, holding her first pumpkin pie. She got up this morning and made two of them for us. They came to school fresh out of the oven. Good thing we had two hours to let them cool. It was great though as the aroma kept us going until it was time to eat.
Here is the table of goodies that we ate today. There is Spam (green tupperware), Easy Cheese, and 2 Pumpkin Pies. The kids were great. We ate each thing one at a time so that everyone was tasting simultaneously. They were hilarious. By the end of the morning, I had nothing left. Some kids liked nothing but many kids liked most things, especially the pie. I'd have to say that the Easy Cheese was a close second. Here are some great pictures of how the class went today.

Kim- It sounds and looks like the kids had a blast! I thought of you the other day because they had SPAM at Costco for a sample. Yikes! I passed on it. (Shocking, since i LOVE the samples there!)

OK, so here's where we reveal that all members of a country are the same. What is Easy Cheese? Is that what I know as Cheese Whiz?
